Soundtrack Style Breakdowns

These tracks were part of my research into breaking down some styles of game music, namely a chamber orchestral style and grungy electronics.  Although they don't have a home in a game (yet!) I did my best to channel the feel of the genre for each track.

Salvation - A sci-fi podcast

Science fiction podcast edited and mixed in Davinci Resolve, music cues & sound design done in Ableton Live.  Although some music became involved in the project, this project was more about learning vocal mixing and recording and some sound design to flesh out the world.

A recent foray into writing a jazz piece.  Written as a character theme for the game "Bake Me Crazy", this track is played at the end of the storyline for a romanceable NPC Callum, also called "Salty".  This track was made for the GMU student game studio GADIG (Game Analysis and Design Interest Group) in production for their Spring 2025 game.

Made for a horror game demo "Devil's Womb" as the main environmental track.  Used a variety of synthesizer textures and dissonant musical figures to match the claustrophobia of the game.  This was a really fun game to write for and included a little foray into foley and coding in Unity.

Some tracks from a western project-
